The book, Watership Down, scarred me for life. I have avoided all tv and movie adaptations and will continue to do so. Same for Black Beauty. I have also vowed to do my absolute best to shield my nephews from these literary and cinematic horrors along with the movies Dumbo, Bambi, Secrets of NIHM, The Fox and the

Oh. Guess I should've saved my irrational rant until I scrolled further.
never mind

Why has no one mention Richard Dawson?! Any discussion of The Match Game that doesn't mention its best player is bullshit.

I'm very "meh" about this show. To me it is Blacklist without any of Spader's personality. I won't miss it should it be cancelled, but will continue to watch it if the Monday night football game is boring. My husband doesn't like it at all because of the horrible writing and horrible acting of the main FBI guy

I thought The Heat was great, and Bridesmaids just okay. Never saw Tammy or Identity Theft. The trailers for those were awful enough to keep me away.

Saw the movie today and really liked it. The violence was more graphic than I thought it would be, but no more violent than a Bourne movie, and I thought it was kind of awesome that much of the violence was being delivered by women. None of the women in this movie were waiting around for some man to save them or do

Ground Floor is unwatchable thanks to John McWhatshisface's (guy who played Dr. Cox) decision to play his role with a weird and obviously unnatural voice. Horrible.

I agree. Veronica has always been a Sam Spade/Phillip Marlowe type character to me. They could never have resisted the lure of Neptune either.

I live in a small Southern town, and that thing where all the women in a clique look alike is very accurate. Horrifyingly, laughably accurate. Same fake hair color, same Capri pants, same oversized jewelry, same leathery tan skin, the same style haircut, the same overly made-up faces. Scary.

I know that there is going to be a country music-based drama set in Nashville this fall, but having lived somewhat near Nashville for my entire life, it is a city that is perfect for a sitcom. Is Chuck Lorre the show runner of the shows that he creates/produces? I've found Lorre to be an enigma ever since his successes in the 80s. He habitually picks actors and actress with very, very strong (and often contentious) personalities like Brett Butler, Cybil Shepard, and Charlie Sheen. He then builds the entire

I really like "How I Met Your Mother", too. I've just noticed that many people who comment on the AV Club rail about the lack of character growth and story development. I grew a little impatient with the show this season, but because I like the characters I will continue to watch the show.
 I also agree that Sheldon

I think sitcoms can't win. When the characters never change, like on "How I Met Your Mother" or "Big Bang Theory", they're blasted. When they change too much, they get blasted.

Maybe Harmon could get together with Bill Lawrence now that he's not running "Cougar Town" (or should I say Cougarton Abbey?) and they could create a new show, insuring that Abed will always have a show to love. I think it's weird that the two show that I was most worried about being renewed, have both been renewed,

Loved, loved, loved the box gags. Laughed hard every time. Thinking Box was my favorite. So glad this show is continuing.
