Just finishing up How Jesus Became God (a bit pedantic at times, but generally interesting), and just starting Eric Larson's Thunderstruck for book club. It looks promising so far, and certainly more of a page turner than the former.
Oh, man. That train scene from Risky Business. I was 16. Enough said.
Vince Neil just happens to be in my little town tonight playing at the local casino. Hopefully he has a driver.
Night Shift is an awesome collection. His first, I believe (since I read it in middle school in about 1980).
Wait… Punky or Paget?
The Berenstain Bears Reap the Harvest? That could be some real fire and brimstone shit.
When I see "Paget Brewster" I think of "Punky Brewster" and get really confused. I don't know who Paget Brewster is. I'm pretty sure this is related to the fact that I am over the age of 40.

No, I definitely would not confuse those two! I always mixed up Eileen Brennan with… well, some other actress of her age and with similar characteristics who I also can't remember.
Wait, I thought Lesley Ann Warren died within the last year. Who am I thinking of?
When I read the headline I pictured Johnson and Kevin James; how did they not go with that comedy gold?
Bell's just opened a new brewery in the Upper Peninsula (right down the road from me!) and released two new beers last week; Escanaba Black and U.P. Ale (an IPA). They'll have Upper Hand Logger (lager) out soon. It is pretty exciting to have this in our little podunk town! I also love that these beers will not be…
