I'm late to the party on this (I watch on Hulu), but I take issue with Erik's apparent low grade because of class warfare tropes that he apparently found disagreeable. While, as another commenter said, I too have met some Nicks in my life, I felt like the show was not calling out a generation but Nick specifically……

While I thought the episode was all right (probably my favorite part was Tracy's "Fievel Goes West" line) Nathan did hit on something that I've been feeling since the middle of season five but haven't been able to put my finger on until now: the show, and Liz, in particular, is just meaner.
