The very fact of the interview's existence made the C+ inevitable. It also ensured praise for the interviewee. It's become such a predictable pattern, I have to wonder if they're just fucking with us at this point.

I bet you loved that Marines ad where the guy slays that fire dragon with a sword. That was way more bad-ass than this song.
maybe if he stopped making great music that a lot of people enjoy, we wouldn't have to hear about him so much.
It's refreshing to hear someone make good use of that "dog bark" feature on the 1995 Casio.

So if I'm not a gamer, does that "A" become a "D-"?
I wonder if all the signage on their storefront will look like a Sublime logo.
I haven't read all of On the Road, but I've read Dharma Bums a couple times, and I feel like my problem with it isn't the writing or the characters, not with the book itself, but with all the faux-sensitive-artistic douches who still act like the characters and talk like the narrator even though that whole scene was…
Little Otik is one film I would not mind seeing Americanized. Don't know who could do it, though.

"This film is awful but that actor we interviewed yesterday is really good in it and is not well-served by the poor script/direction of the people we did not interview."

Also, I don't think George Costanza/Marisa Tomei belongs on the list. The absurdity of the whole thing is the point of the episode, like the fact that Marisa Tomei's type is "short, stocky bald men," and that every straight male's fantasy (sex with a hot Oscar-winner) is suddenly and inexplicably within the reach of…
because they're both brown and kind of funny?
is this some sort of pre-lash? "I hated them before they even had an album out!"
Never mind the title. Look at the whole album cover. It looks like something I come across while flipping through the $1 R&B records that someone sold to Cheapo for gas money.

I'm always surprised when I find out Incubus is still around. My teenage self was way into S.C.I.E.N.C.E. (you have to admit they had something resembling chops and integrity on that album), and I'm always secretly holding out hope that they'll abandon the whole radio rock thing at some point, but I don't think that's…
RHCP
That RHCP song is not bad. As always, Kiedis ruins it. It's like he has to come up with nonsensical WTF-type lyrics to compensate for his blandness and lack of range. But really, if you just imagine that song with a decent singer and better lyrics, it's a real gem. Pretty good guitar work from Klinghoffer too.
Ah TOLE you not to give that monsta no TREE FIDDY!
Venice makes sense as the Dude's home. It presents the illusion of being "happening," but it's really just where the 60s counterculture went to die.
