I think they've played on the show before, a few years ago maybe?

That's what I thought at first, but then he ran his mouth after the show and went on some tangent about how Beyonce genuinely should have won, and how Beck should have respected her artistry (although I'm not sure how he was disrespectful of it, he didn't chose to win the award, nor did he say anything disrespectful

He seemed out of character during that little scene, but I settled on the idea that he was probably just committing to the "Life Is Happy" role to get Bill out of the bar as soon as possible

they were banking on him getting the death penalty

y'know, I never used to be crazy about "Black Hole Sun" either, until about 2 years ago when A) I started really getting into Soundgarden, and B) I stopped listening to FM radio. When you aren't constantly hearing the song, it's a lot easier to appreciate it for what it is. It's actually a really well-crafted song and

it was also written by Matt Cameron, and I have a special place in my heart for kickass songs written by drummers

This is the epitome of a tough guy, try-hard HateSong. "I'd kick someone's ass for playing this song! This is worse than what the Nazis did! I'm an ex-wrestler and I'm in a metal band!"

I misinterpreted "having a catch" as something else, until I got to the second sentence and then I was like "oh, that's NOT what he meant"

Didn't Charline once say that he likes gluing cat fur to himself sometimes? I wouldn't at all be surprised to see some sort of cat-themed episode in the future

I agree, I never cared about those characters before, but if you're going to turn them into a cat-woman and suicidal alcoholic train wreck (I'm hoping Bill falls off of this happiness wagon he ended the episode on last night), then I'm on board. The kids were hilarious too, especially goth boy

I agree with you. Season 8 and 9 each had a handful of great episodes, but I distinctly remember being disappointed by the seasons overall. Out of the 7 episodes so far, I think maybe 2 of them didn't live up to my expectations (last night's included), but they still had enough funny parts to justify rewatching them.

Limp Bizkit and Alien Ant Farm should have traded places, AAF were actually talented dudes.

beer makes us do bad things

I never thought of this until now, but Nacho seems closer in personality to a character like Crazy 8 than he does to Tuco

Screaming Females are awesome and it's always cool to see 'em show up on here.

I'm not sure how it ranks compared to their best seasons, but so far I've been enjoying this a lot more than I enjoyed seasons 8 and 9

I was about to go off until I saw your username. sorry, the joke is on me

which is all a product of his weird self-loathing and complete denial of his true sexuality

It's only a matter of time until Dennis' breakdowns move beyond just screaming at people

Maybe I'm being harsh but I'd even go as far as to give this episode a C+
