You don't have to be a gun nut to realize that a pistol is not a great stand in for sniper rifle, particularly when wielded by bartender with presumably no gun experience.

I would just like to remind people that "adorkable" is just a term created by FOX's brilliant marketing team, and not one that actually means anything at all.

I find Shivrang to be pretty boring as a character, but it would be nice to buck the cliche.

Well, part of it is because New Girl could be considered the best sitcom on TV right now.  Community is suffering from heavy talent loss, Parks and Rec is suffering from complacency, 30 Rock is done, etc.  So it deserves its praise.

"Playing too much to shipper types lately" is a strange complaint for New Girl, because that's essentially been the show's draw.  They've never claimed to be anything more than a show about relationships and sex, and they've been planning and building up to the Nick-Jess since pretty much the very beginning.
