Yep. I just keep thinking, "Buddy, you knew your wife had a kid when you married her. Shut up."

Ah, yes, another good name for those kinds of scores for sure. I'm always impressed with people who know how to find the right music for a certain atmosphere or mood of a story.

"An Unlocked Window" scared the ever loving shit out of me. I watched that episode on my computer with my headphones on, and at one point I actually pried them away from my ears, because the killer's laugh creeped me out so much.

This is an awesome post. Thanks for all this extra info! I'll have to see if I can somehow track down that "Amazing Stories" episode.

Yeah, the idea of the daughter projecting her hatred for her stepfather onto the doll definitely makes it that much more chilling.

Exactly.

I totally missed that about the doll. I'll have to look for that next time.

I approve of this entire post.

That's how I'd read it throughout, too. I found it very hard to be sympathetic to him throughout the episode-when his wife was packing her suitcase I was like, "Yeah, grab your daughter and get the hell out of there."

Okay, that is goddamn disturbing.

That image in your last sentence there really freaked me out. Thanks.

That's amazing. It's great that he's been able to work for that long-it's not easy to keep yourself going in that industry sometimes. Sounds like he's made a nice little resume for himself there.

Thanks for the link, and thanks to you as well, Dumbledore Calrissian (nice screenname), for the info. Sounds hilarious-I'll be off to watch this soon.

I like that theory. As if the story idea wasn't freaky enough already, that makes it even more surreal and scary.

I cannot even begin to imagine how long that flight would feel. Holy crap. I'd be loading up on stuff to occupy myself, no question.

YES. Oh, good lord, that poor attendant. The idea of being hurtled through the air like that…eeeeeeeeesh.

Oh, wow. Stingy much?

Ergh. Fun, fun. I'm glad it ended okay, though.

Yeah, I'm not sure what all the details were, 'cause I just got whatever my dad had told me, but he said he was waiting for us to land and all of a sudden he saw these people running by all freaked out and someone said something about low fuel and whatnot, and I guess there were some issues with that somewhere along

Precisely. Course, that's an interesting dilemma, because obviously this was not a good situation in general…but at the same time, if I'd survived something that horrific and found something good in the midst of such horror, no matter how minor, it'd be very hard to not want to rejoice at least a little bit.
