There is no way that "modern rock" soundtrack is in the movie.

Well, there was that whole "I'm late" conversation from last season, so his cigarette-in-mouth once over of his baby was one of the weirdest parts of the episode — I mean, clearly he knows it's his, right? I don't recall if Joan and Roger ever had a conversation after her supposed "abortion."
That's how you read the ending of Jurassic Park III? I'm pretty sure it just, you know, ends abruptly because it's a shitty 1 hour and 30 minute movie.
"Jealous?"
A GOD DAMN GOOF.
If he's not cut out for the lab (still skimming?), and he's still valuable (by keeping Jesse alive, Gus propels Walt's fear of a looming threat of "who's next?"), then Gus and Mike can at least put him to work.
Probably not happening at all ever, but what if Gus and Mike are exploiting Jesse's "not giving a fuck" and putting it to use for violence, cleanup, etc.? He's kind of at a "point of no return." Maybe they'll get extra muscle from a guy who, at least on the surface, doesn't care about the threat of violence.
"Don't step on the white ones. … hot lava. … PINEAPPLES!"
YES

Hm, I'll look for it. I just watched a very recent (and yeah, heavily edited) video interview with him about the song, and he was still pretty defensive about it. Actually, I was convinced it was a satire or written from a false/other perspective, but that video changed my mind. It was at the Country Music Hall of…
… what?
Soybomb is right. Rabin has it wrong. The "outlaw country" thing was in response to the rhinestone cowboy, Nashville sound stuff. The "Bakersfield sound" happened because dudes wanted to play country music in California, not because they were sticking it to the man in Nashville. Fuck "Okie From Muskogee."
"Treme Song"
It's not "bug jumping", it's "buck jumping," a second-line dance.
This dude…

HAVE WE ALL FORGOTTEN?
Lee Greenwood — "God Bless the USA"
Our parents did that, and they either think Woodstock was the best thing to have ever happened to this country, or they're taking away funding for the Special Olympics or NPR.
All great shows. I still watch them all the time. But it's good to remind yourself you live 20 years later. I don't like the current trend in liking the '90s ironically and worshiping everything from my generation's childhood.
Nostalgia
is fucking stupid.
