Iroh is Ozai's brother. He's Zuko's actual uncle.

It was tons of fun to watch this series with my then-seven-year old. He's a wise kid, and we were able to enjoy much of it on the same level.

Barney isn't gay. HIMYM is funny, as is NPH. Some Republicans like funny and some Republicans are not homophobes, and some others at least don't care about someone like NPH being gay because he doesn't make a big damn deal out of it.

Salut, Romanilor!*
And I thought this place was crawling with Australians.

Hee!

Vehicular Domicide
Nice turn of phrase, Zack.

Yeah, AVClub, go fix that right now. Seriously, spoilers, people. Not cool.

Yeah, I got a total shiver on "Wait 'til you meet the other guy" then was only confronted with an urge to hug the other guy when we did meet him, and, possibly, to spit on a napkin and clean his face off.

Squeeeee!
Sorry, I just can't consider any time spent watching Jared Padalecki as wasted. Wait, I did try to watch Thomas Kincaid's Christmas Cottage once, so…

Yeah, I was awfully worried when Lovecraft came into it, mostly because I would not have gotten any genuine references, being completely ignorant of the oeuvre.

Thanks for the link, Larry Kink! The fine print on their contract is gold:

Shhhh! Don't give us away, Bfred, or they'll make us go back to posting on Townhall.com!

Well, now I admit I'm giggling a bit, myself.

Know that's what I meant cos that's what I wrote? But with more punctuation?

Yes, too bad the AVClub grade-o-meter thingy doesn't have an "E" for "Exceeds Expectations".

Oh my God! They killed Rory!
You bastards!

Fine, I'll say it…
Congrats to Keith and… Mrs. Keith!

It would've taken a miracle and apparently all the angels were busy…
…To get the season back on track in a way that was completely satisfying.

@Mihovil: exactly I was going to mention "dicks", "assholes" and the fact that of all the males we've seen, only Sam, Dean, Bobby, Cass and now, I guess, Crowley are still kicking around much.

But they could cast a fat chick every now and then…
Much as I enjoy Zack's reviews, I'm glad Carrie was at the helm for this one. Between Lenore's death and our extended exposure to Eve, I don't thin Zack could have resisted turning this review into a full-on feminist rant.
