Exactly! I liked "Sam's Town" too but not as much as "Hot Fuss" and then "Day & Age" less than "Sam's Town." I don't mind them trying to grow their sound or expand their horizons but to me it seemed they forgot the ingredient that first got everyone's attention: that they seemed to be having fun on "Hot Fuss."

Did they update Soarin'? We went to Disney World in 2008 and rode it (and loved it).

"Hot Fuss" for me was Duran Duran:The Next Generation. (Meant as a compliment here as I am a Duranie from the first time I heard "Hungry Like The Wolf" back in '82). Great dance pop combo.

Amen on The Gap Band. Back in the 90s, I saw Collective Soul (it was the 90s, I was in college and it was a good show, dammit) and they did "You Dropped A Bomb on Me" as an encore. Solid version too.

That Metallica track is unreal. Hammet's guitar solos are perfect. One of their last true thrash tracks.
