Has George even watched the movies?!?
Has George even watched the movies?!?
I had True Faith that someone would go for that pun.
Exactly. I think what sold me initially on Rebels was the exchange when Kanan uses the classic "do or do not" line on Ezra, who questions what it means and Kanan responds with "I don't know. Yoda used to say it all the time." Well done.
I do like how Rebels portrays Kanan as an imperfect Jedi teacher.
Well, Luke looks older in Ep IV than Ezra looks in Rebels (to me at least)…and the voice sounds just like Disney's Alaadin further giving the feel that Ezra is not too much older than Ep I Anakin.
And there's more character development in Clone Wars for Anakin and Obi-Wan and many others than you ever see in the prequels…making it more a shame that Clone Wars didn't air between Episodes II-III, might have smoothed over some of the cringe-worthy rough edges of those movies.
I've been rewatching Clone Wars via Netflix while also watching Rebels. Rebels is like early seasons of Clone Wars, I think. Hit or miss. Looks great, though. I"m sticking with Rebels for now, but hope it gets better and more consistent.
This seems a timely reminder:
