Just finished "Louder Than Hell: An Oral History of Heavy Metal," which was entertaining. Though in the scope of things, I thought the book meandered too much around the death metal and dark metal sub genres a tad too much.
"Where are the anthems for our youth? What happened to music that meant something? The Who at the Kingdome, or Kiss at the Coliseum… Where is the "Misty Mountain Hop," where is the, is the "Smoke on the Water"… Where is the "Iron Man" of today?"
Work seems to be going well.
Found out this week that a job I turned down a few years ago…the guy who took it was recently downsized. So looks like I dodged a bullet there.

I'm assuming/hoping that's just a first round of touring, to shake the cobwebs off and test audience reaction before booking more extensive US dates (when I would hope they come closer to me when I will definitely be there to see them).
