Great write-up, Noel - thanks for this. The whole of Electr-O-Pura is as sneaky-great as anything else in YLT's catalog.

Is that a Titleist?

Sean, why not just write a monthly column on something awesome David Byrne has done? Really though

What is it like to be the wrongest person

At the Love This Giant show at the Chicago Theater last year, they started the set with a couple of their songs together, and it was great, and the audience sat and clapped. But they broke into This Must Be The Place about 3 or 4 songs in, and everyone in the place was instantly - instantly! - on their feet. They

Ctrl+f "Laura Dern." Nothing, guys? Really? The correct answer here is Laura Dern.

Kids Are Alright was my introduction to The Who some 10 years ago or so, and I'm still an enormous fan. The songs you singled out in particular just have such staying power. Untouchable. I do think they're better than the Stones.

The cycle is always the same with Dan Harmon - He acts like a fucking asshole in public, then issues a self-aggrandizing non-apology focused more on himself and his own perceived personal shortcomings than whatever he actually did to try to drum up sympathy, and apparently it works? Night Ranger's Sister Christian, you guys

Seriously! He's great and it's awesome to sing along with.

Never enough love for these guys. They're an awesome live show, too. Good vibes, man.

My favorite piece of evidence in my favorite argument - "Talking Heads are the greatest band of all time."

"Either everything is black or everything is white, I can't bear to consider any other possibilities!"

Commenters calling him formulaic and quote-unquote-edgy either haven't heard enough of him or just can't appreciate a seriously fucking talented comedian when they see one. Anthony Jeselnik is awesome.

Came here to say exactly that - Back in season one when Johnny asked Boyd whether he bought any of the shit he was selling as a preacher, he told him that exact same phrase, "Truth always sounds like lies to a sinner."

Can someone please explain to me why Sufjan Christmas stuff makes people angry? Not to be so butthurt, I'm really just curious. He's not making Ironic Hipster Christmas Music. It's just Christmas music. He's an extremely talented musician who's made some of the best music of the last ~5 years, and the last Christmas
