These weren't teachers, but we meet the principal in S2, which leads to a lot of development for Asst. Principal Clemmons. I also like how his relationship with Veronica evolved over the first two seasons.

Personally, I think one thing that made the rip-off aspect worse was that the creator of Moonlight was David Greenwalt, co-creator of Angel. Not only was he lazy, he tried to redo something he already made.

I'd say he's a pretty bad person. He projects homophobia due to his discomfort with being homophobic and he lies to his clients. However, he is certainly an entertaining bad person.
