That's what's so great about it - you know where Moss' story is going when he gets caught in the staff bathroom, but then they leave it alone until you're so caught up in Roy's fuckup that you completely forgot you knew. A+.

We thought that it would be fun to have a summer chock full o' "The IT Crowd," and the two episodes per week format worked out perfectly for that timing. Laziness isn't actually a factor here. I've found that reviewing two a week is MUCH more challenging; even if the per episode word count clocks in lower, the same…
I can't speak to the way other A.V. writers use "broad," but the question of why that word immediately springs to mind for me when thinking about British sitcoms is actually really interesting. There are definitely 'broad' comedies in the American sitcom tradition - "Dick Van Dyke Show," "Mary Tyler Moore," maybe even…
"Flip" : Richard Ayoade :: "Bastard" : Chris O'Dowd
I always preferred Malteasers cereal.
Yes, I'd count slapstick and crude jokes as belonging to the "broad" category, but I in no way meant to imply that "broad" means "inferior." It's just a different strain, a different way of approaching comedy with a particularly blunt kind of tone. And just like any category, there's varying levels of quality…
Ah, you're right. Will correct.
Well TECHNICALLY the CD-rom tray is in/around the hard drive area, and really, isn't EVERYTHING a part of the hard drive in the grand scheme of things?*
I loved her delivery on that. "Ohmygod no!"
Natalie Dormer made me do it (with a side of Henry Cavill)!!
Thank you! There were definitely a few times when I thought how much easier it would be if I could just sit back and enjoy the show without having to pick it apart, but writing these reviews have been endlessly satisfying (largely thanks to you guys!).
Thank you so much! See you in 2014.
Linehan says he will accept either "The IT" or "The It," but I always go with "IT."
I don't dislike him! I actually like him a lot! Going back to the first two episodes, though, it was jarring how much broader he was from the basement crowd.
Well, that depends. How big are the girls?
So would you say I'm the hero you deserve, but not the one you need right now?
Honestly, it was hard to tell on my screener. My first draft of this review said "handful of fire," sooo… it could have been worse?
As the biggest reality event of the week, America's Favorite Way to Feel Inferior was clearly a must-watch.
Of COURSE this happens after I'm done with the review. Thrilled! I was ready for Orphan Black to to be yet another unfairly overlooked genre show, so this is one time where it's awesome that I'm wrong.
I'd be a little disappointed if they decide the neolutionists didn't know there were twins. We don't know how early their birth mother ran away, but it'd be surprising if it was earlier than ten weeks, which is about when you can figure out there are two kids instead of one.
