Please don't refer to Best Coast and Dum Dum Girls as "artists," especially not in an article praising an actual artist.

The not-so-surreptitious shot of the booze behind the bar with the Jameson carefully placed in the dead center of the shot is absolutely pukeworthy.  Gimme a break.

The face scene in David Lynch's "Inland Empire" is absolutely the scariest thing I've ever seen in any film.
