Finally got to watch it last week - man, it's operating on an entirely different level than all those other films. Every performance is fucking incredible, and the sheer weight of the ideas in it outweigh the rest of the nominees combined.

It's too bad, really - there's something satisfying about responding to something like 'The Simpsons is still really funny you guys and Ayn Rand had a lot of good ideas' with a big fat public downvote shaming.
