i really connect to the slowness of Tarkovsky's movies for some reason. There's something comforting about them, almost like i'm taking a short vacation in another universe. i love 'Stalker' in particular, i rewatch it every few months. It's like settling in and taking a little vacation.

That soundtrack has got to be one of the all-time greats. i walked out of the (empty) theatre, drove home, and immediately Kazaa'd it.
