The problem here is that saying "if it was only made of different fabric" is kind of missing the point, I feel. The fabric choice is a BIG deal. I agree totally and I commented below that had she used a print or a different fabric, or even cut the top differently, then the t-shirt issue goes out of the window. But I

On the one hand, I was trying to give Michelle the benefit of the doubt that everyone is allowed to kind of suffer in their own fashion and if she doesn't like being hugged when she's sad, then that's her right. But on the other hand, I was immediately brought back to that point a couple weeks ago when I totally hated

I think Michelle would have been fine with Richard's "help." I say this because her look was simple enough that she probably could have been fine with having him sew the pants wouldn't needing to explain sewing 101 to him. I don't know what Patricia's first concept was, but it seemed to me that she was done in by way

I agree that I thought she was a goner. Idk if the talk was fake or not, but I can see points be made on both sides of that argument. But you had 2 weeks in a row where she was in the bottom and it seems like her flaws are showing more and more now that she's got to stand on her own two feet basically. This is why I

I'm confused and honestly curious: why would you throw this episode under the bus by complaining about a look (Layana's) that didn't win? I think the point could be argued that the judges recognized some of the same issues with the look that you did and thereby decided that Stanley deserved the win. Unless your point

I don't think the issue was that the outfit itself was lacking. If you ask me, I'd rather that then that thing Patricia put down the runway for sure. But I honestly don't think there's much of a case to be made for it being editorial enough for this challenge. The pants were simple and one solid color. She didn't do

I can't recall this do or die thing being given to just one designer before either. But then again I will say that I think it would be easier to judge this moment against other moments if we knew thing 1 about what the hell the judges are going for.

I think that that argument could be made, but I don't think it can be made all that well or successfully. I think anyone with even a rudimentary knowledge of fashion and an understanding of the basics of this show would be capable of knowing that Michelle's outfit wasn't unique enough to be seen as more than pants and

From what I remember, the judges have done the do or die thing before, but never in such a mysterious "We're not telling you what it means now!" fashion. I think it's the equivalent of one more challenge to decide who's going to fashion week after a double elimination. So basically is should be Michelle designing for

I just saw on facebook that they've put the episode up on FX's website, I think. Apparently it wasn't the DVRa faults, FX screwed up with its scheduling causing the last few minutes to get cut off.

A) My DVR decided to stop recording. I thought it was pretty much the end so I wasn't too upset, alas it seems that Stan killed that cute guy he was interrogating? So thanks a lot, Bright House; your shitty technology has fucked me over once again!

Hate Eddie, and I'm right there with you on that, but I love Malcolm too much and I can at least recognize his need to use certain people to give his alliance the numbers. In a perfect would, he would have tried to pull in Sherri instead of Eddie, but I can understand how the young strong dude's alliance looked good

If this Shado chick is such a competent fighter (she took out a handful of guys herself last week in her escape and she's more than a match for Crixus during their sparing this week) then why was she ever a captive to begin with?

Reynold has actually grown on me lately. He does seem like he's got a bit more of a head for the game than I was giving him credit for at first. Eddie is just the worst. It strikes me that a big part of the problem is that Reynold's hitched his wagon up to Eddie and he might be brought down by him. Kind of the way

You're right this is Survivor at it's best, but what I've learned about Survivor is that it's not nearly as much fun when the person you want to see succeed is the one being blindsided. The sad part is I honestly don't think the rest of the favorites would have a huge problem getting rid of Philip. It seems like

I don't have the slightest clue who River Song is, so hearing that as the justification for Kingston's accent is constantly throwing me off, but I do know who Kingston is (there was a little show few people knew about called ER a few years back. Maybe it wasn't important enough to be used as such justification, but

EMILY HUGGED NOLAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And how is that not the headline of this article?

Here's the odd thing, fundamentally, I disagree with most of the points being made about Jimmy here. The scenes featuring him but not Fiona were annoying and lost on me. With any luck Jimmy is dead and his absence will allow Fiona (painfully) move on.

I logged on to AVC earlier just to check something and saw an A- review of a show I'd never heard of, so I set my DVR to record it because why not (not like I've got anything to conflict with it on a Saturday night) and I was rewarded with this! What an amazing ride that was! Can't wait for more!!!!

@avclub-500e75a036dc2d7d2fec5da1b71d36cc:disqus I think that that argument works, but I think it works on the same level of the "Of course there's a God, you just have to have faith!" argument. You can't really prove it with anything solid and quantifiable, but you believe it's there because of how effective the
