Even then I think it only really works if the artist is in agreement. Or maybe that's not the right way to put it. Here's my problem with the "Patricia's look as a simple work of art" approach: I don't believe for one second that she thought, "I can make a huge feminist statement about marriage, being bound to someone

We're in agreement of Michelle. My question now is what does a collection from her look like? I'd be very worried about the abundance of blacks and browns and other dark or earthy colors, matched with all the coats and rain vests (because I still have no fucking clue as to what that even is or what purpose it's meant

For all of our similar taste in men, I'm starting to see a vastly different taste in fashion. Patricia's was like one piece out of place. I could have accepted the beekeeper netting if it weren't for the locked in sleeves (I'm assuming they were sleeves) or vice versa, but all of it together just didn't work for me.

Layana: I just feel so betrayed-ed by you.
Me: Aw, sweety. Betrayed-ed isn't a word.

I'm not sure there was a case being made here for this episode to not get an A. Best the show's been all season!

Well if no one else is prepared to say it, I guess I will: "gubernatorial" is the dumbest word in the English language.

Didn't like this episode. I don't know, it just didn't work for me. Maybe not enough Ian and Mickey. I think what I really would have liked was one solid episode of Lip having put Karen behind him and looking to Mandy as a serious relationship. I also struggle with the prospect of why Lip's so obsessed with Karen. I

FUNNIEST. ARTICLE. EVER!

I don't remember and can't find where I posted the comment about it, but I think Layana was in my original top 3 prospects. Either way, she's the only one left I'd be at all interested in seeing a collection from. Maybe Stan, but he's been slipping lately so I'm not too sure. But no one else.

The interesting thing about it to me is that this element seemed interesting in the first few weeks. It was kind of cool and fresh to see dresses that would have been in the top 3 get forced into the bottom because their teammates dragged them down and such. But now that it's working in a fashion that's keeping people

1) 40 is not old! And that's coming from a 27 year old.

I think you bring up a good point. Especially since I strongly doubt Tiberius is hung like a horse (though I guess I could be wrong). But in the show's defense, a lot of damage (even long lasting damage) can be done by anal rape. The rectum doesn't heal as quickly as other body parts, and if he didn't relax and such

Wait, I'm confused. Due to Caesar's (alleged but still probable) bisexuality, you think he's a rapist? Or not above rape? I hope you're not conflating bisexuality to some kind of sexual delinquency (and I'm sure you weren't, and it's just a misunderstanding, but that's certainly how it sounded.)

"It’s one thing to have him rape Kore, which was a deplorable act but one
that felt not only within character but also within his capacity to
execute. But all of a sudden, Tiberius is just about the most powerful
character on the show, and I’m not sure Spartacus has adequately sold this change."

They could, and I wouldn't put it past them, but they haven't. Blane said in this episode that Regionals was a couple of weeks away. If they are simply competing in a later Regionals, then I guess that's fine, but it still feels a bit like poor planning on their part. It's a bit of a rush to hit Regionals and

The thing about Brody to me was that I never liked or really brought into him as a full character or a legit love interest. A lot of this has to do with the show's relentless focus on Finn and Rachel as endgame, but I think Brody rubbed me the wrong way from the moment he felt the need to assert his heterosexuality. I

I'd noticed his absences as well and was wondering about it.

"ridiculous ways they've contrived to get rid of all of Rachel's not-Finn romantic partners"

I'm also starting to wonder about the general talent level of this season, or at least of the people left. Portland's dress was fine, but it was also the only dress on the runway that the judges (or even the viewers I'm guessing) had primarily positive things to talk about. This is 2 weeks in a row where there was way

"It’s the Rachel side that I really don’t get"
