Fair enough, but it gets a lot less use than NYC. Still gets a lot of use but people in that area are more inclined to driving. If you go straight from the Acela (nice to see the girls treating themselves, by the way) to the SEPTA trains, it's not too bad.

As far as I can tell, she is. She talks about her mom quite a bit (even has a recurring Instagram thing with her mom (who's on the shorter side, but not really short) in big chairs) but I haven't heard much about her father.

I agree, but they've been putting quite a few things in there. Maybe one of the writers was pregnant and it ended up on everybody's minds when they were writing this season, but almost every episode so far has something related to babies or possible pregnancy in it.

It was interesting that they chose to focus on Abbi's dad, considering the real Abbi is much closer with her mother. Helps to separate the characters from the real people.
