And this is a real thing this guy does with his time! So wild.

I can see that.
Definitely not over Amy Winehouse yet, though.

UNCLE … SAM!!!

The real world explanation is that they met through an improv group, so I imagine it was something similar in-show.

"Why so serious?"

One other thing- I really related to that whole discussion about 'byobs' and 'byofs' early on. Part of eating out is the atmosphere and if you can save a little by bringing your own cutlery, why not? Plus, my only real table is the one I keep my laptop on while it's charging.

Exactly- I was in a similar situation a few years back, and hearing that both real Ilana and show Ilana take antidepressants made me feel better about my own situation.

Great rec, man. That was an amazing read.

It's amazing how one idea inspires another, but I got one too:
I love New York!

Cannot go wrong there.

Have you been watching the final episode of the first season of the web series recently? Because that sort of fight-the-power stuff was a huge part of that episode.

"Ok, so I finished watching Damages." Which reminds me, did she ever get to that cashew stir fry?

If it exists, the DVD may have it. There was like half an hour of Amy Sedaris improvs on the Season 1 DVD, among others.

Didn't they talk about Six Flags in the first season finale as well? Like, one of them was willing to do it with the bald guy from the ads, even though it would be disgusting?

This neighborhood is really changing

That Patricia Clarkson scene was like something out of Tennessee Williams. So dramatic.

And the whole privacy issues thing, it's just a lot really.

I know, the whole 'titty-chips' thing from the season teaser video Comedy Central put online a couple months ago never showed up. I'm guessing, based on Ilana's outfit, that it was a deleted scene from 'In Heat'. Hopefully the whole deleted scene will be on the Season 2 DVD.

They really need to give him a bell or something.

From what I've heard, Yonge Street is somewhat similar in mood. Then again, I've never been to Yonge Street so I'm not sure.
