Sam's scene with Al's wife was supposed to (in the original ending) lead to Al and her being together and happy, and Al and Sam still started Project Quantum Leap in that timeline. It's really a shame they had to change it to accomodate the cancellation.

Center me on Sam!

Yeah, the original ending was supposed to involve Al becoming a leaper as well, and his first leap was to what was apparently an alien planet in the future.

They've actually been trying to get a theatrical movie going for a few years now.

They did a comic book as well- pretty good, from what little I've seen of it.

My theory is that Ziggy's really in control of the leaps, but she doesn't want to make it too easy. It all goes along with something she said in "The Leap Back".

@avclub-57db7d68d5335b52d5153a4e01adaa6b:disqus , that's sort of what happened in "The Leap Back" though- Sam got home and got his memory back but he lept out to save Al.

Also a big fan of The Storyteller, especially the Greek Myths season. There was a comic book based on the original series that I recently purchased. It's pretty good so far, very in the spirit.

Then who's the Shield?

They did a lot of animated pilots in that timeslot:

Well, who doesn't like that though?

Why do you think they called her Punky Boobster?

Please don't. It took forever to get over the nightmares.

Also, Tarzan, Lord Of The Jungle.

I definitely want to see that second one.

Wasn't that on with Journey To The Center Of The Earth?

Still, Uncle Ted as Barf? Decent casting choice.

They even had Robin in for a few episodes (as a tadpole, of course).

And that got a spinoff, Gadget Boy.

Dick Van Dyke too.
