You missed the guest star!?
You didn't see Stefan from "Top Chef" asking Eric and Sloan how their meal was!???

Worth It For Jane Adams
Jane's little look after she hung up the phone at the end of the episode was reason enough to keep coming back. Jane Adams does such a good job of playing someone clearly pretending she knows what she's doing that it raises the whole show another level…

Agree with the B
Spot on about the Boston College arc: Julie is freaking out, but mom loves her! This exact same "parent pushes one school" thing is so cliched it was Freddie Prinze Jr.'s big moment in "She's All That."

This proves it.
THIS SHOW IS SO OVER NOW.

doy: absolute *favorite*…

Can the AV Club enlist someone to hate on this?
One of my absolute AV Club write-ups is the first season coverage of this show. Can't we have someone also cover it who doesn't care for it all that much?

For some reason that riff on the same reptitive dialogue makes me think of "you couldn't fool your own mother on the foolingest day of your life if you had an electrified fooling machine."

The Cutting Edge
Yet he refuses to return to the Cutting Edge series? What a crock.

MacGruber's Fail Puzzles Me
I thought it was hysterical. I don't know what happened, but it seems the only "critic" who also thought it hilarious was Doug Benson.

Heisenberg is Risen
Holy crap I don't think I've done an actual outburst while watching something since Janice killed Richie at the end of the Sopranos second season. The last 30 seconds—with totally badass "Run."—were something else.

Can We Rank This With The Greats?
I'm curious if Keith or anyone who watched this on DirecTV has had time to think about this/stew on the episode: is this one of the best TV episodes ever?

This Originally Had Such Low Expectations
Does anyone remember when this premiered how it was right on the heels of "Analyze This" with DeNiro and Crystal? I remember the originaly promos for HBO being so lame—basically a retread of the movie—and essentially saying "oh man, this Tony character…no wonder he needs

But Harry Knowles Loves It Right?
Along with whatever other movie he most recently was able to personally screen before the rest of us.

What are we supposed to use, harsh language?

I think JL's BH is correct, but still appreciate the solid analysis.

Cold Open Flashbacks
This season's context filling flashbacks have been really interesting: we've seen how the turtle guy got beheaded, the Uncle Tio "family is all" lesson, and now two tales of Jesse's past.

Does this mean Inception sucks?
Page is in the most anticipated movie of the summer, then this? That doesn't make any sense…

Dear Nathan
This is easily one of the funniest things I have ever read on the AV Club. That it is insightful to boot is amazing.

Frank, you forgot the part where Tara will do all of that as a terrible, terrible actress.

Not Enough Jane Adams Analysis
Jane Adams was fantastic in tonight's episode. As was everyone really.
