I don't think that guy had any intention of killing Sarah, and I think Sarah knew that, so the whole set-up was pointless and just used as a means of Helena popping up…

This show is truly turning into a mess, and for the first time watching this episode, I started to get a sinking feeling. I think the writers have done everything they set out to do, and now they're just plain making shit up - like how I felt watching season 5 of Lost.

It's just that I enjoyed "Voyager" much more than "Deep Space Nine" - very cheesy and Zack's recaps would've been very entertaining.

Okay, the truth is I'm a small Mexican man.

Damn. A shame, Zack.

I had to come back for this. Any chance I'll be skewering your psyche in "Voyager" recaps?

I didn't much care for "Deep Space Nine" - if the mission statement of Star Trek was "to seek out new worlds" and "boldly go" and all that, here we have a vehicle that literally goes nowhere, seeks out nothing until they install a detachable starship and try to have it both ways. The characters and conflict were a

Big David Tennant all the way for me.

But the old shows look like they were taped in somebody's garage. The Daleks looked like trashcans - which they probably were.

Miracle Day had some great qualities - not as good as Children of Earth, but the ending was more satisfying. I am getting sick of seeing Jack's naked butt.

Clara is weak because of the wish-fulfillment aspect. She's perfect - no flaws, and she's hot. The companions have increased in hotness exponentially with the minor diversion of Donna. That's nothing on Catherine Tate. She's a fine piece of ass for the milf set, but come on - the Doctor should have an age and

Especially since Moffat actually works Christmas into his Christmas specials.

You're right about that.

Go to bed, Old Man! Or Old Woman as the case may be…

Yeah, Davies did it too with Rose and Martha - remember those ridiculously-convoluted goodbye episodes. Rose even gets a human Doctor to diddle in the alternate universe, and while I love Martha, she's too much of a lovesick puppy for my taste.

Gotta go with Moffat over Davies' hyper-sexualized take; although Tennant was the superior Doctor (Matt Smith is a close second), Davies wrote like a Producer trying to make some kind of point whereas Moffat's nihilistic, explanation-free material is much stronger.

Fuck then kill, but not necessarily in that order.

The biggest problem with this movie, for me, is that I (like the 1993 audience) was expecting a straightforward Schwarzenegger vehicle, not self-parody. The audience punching a ticket for this ride would not be interested in the self-parody. Movie nuts get the references, understand the joke - Hell, even Roger Ebert

"Insomnia" was the only SK book I couldn't finish, and I've read all of them except "11/22/63" including "Rose Madder" and "Duma Key". "Insomnia" was a test for me. It was surprisingly boring.

If you've seen any interviews with Abrams, he just gives the impression of being a dick or a douche like he's the guy they send down to fire you. I just get that impression. He could be the sweetest guy in the world, but I don't think so.
