Brazil was not a comedy and should not be held up to any standard of comedy in movies.  It had funny moments - as dramas were permitted to have in those days, but it is not a comedy.

God I used to love the show, but it should've been chopped after season four.  I give them season four because otherwise we wouldn't have had Albert Brooks, but the whole thing turned to shit after they left town and we stopped hearing about little boxes on the hillside.
