Have to disagree JMP, just saw "Insurrection" for the first time a couple weeks ago (can't figure why I avoided it; must've been the bad word of mouth).  Other than falling into the trap most TNG movies fall into - that of simply making a TV show and not a movie and harvesting more than five lines for the supporting

I'm waiting for the Tyler Perry "House of Payne" episode where somebody shouts really loud, "I'M YO LONG LOST BITCH!"

Crack is good…

Re - Buckaroo
Didn't he sit on a throne of blood in the castle of pain?  Didn't he wipe his ass with the toilet paper of deceit and keep woodpeckers of mistrust in a cage of urine?

I'm not completely sure, but I'll make the claim that I've had bowel movements that were far more interesting than both of these episodes.

Brow-beating Hollywood liberalism?

"Yes, I'm sure the atrocities of the Nazis and Charles Manson were very much on his mind as he looked at the partially nude eighth grader…"

You don't seem to know anything about the girl's history and the many, many stories of her parent's permissiveness; at the time (when she was bringing these charges to light) her attitude was described as "self-destructive, reckless, a flippant disregard for moral convention" - whatever the lingo, I (and everybody

Wow, name-calling already?  No, kitten - what I was inferring was that she was obviously a party-girl if - her parents permitted her to be in such circumstances - and - she had no qualms about the lack of a chaperon in such circumstances for underage models.  Did she or her parents really think things were going to go

Agreed again Swami - "Ninth Gate" was definitely not meant to be taken seriously.  Polanski has always been a surprise humorist.  "Rosemary's Baby" had moments of unexpected comedy, as did "Frantic".

I agree with Swami.  This is the California celebrity culture of the 60's/70's.  I must also add if I were him, taking a second chance on marriage, at least trying to settle down and getting ready to be a father (which I am) and my wife and unborn child were brutally murdered for no apparent reason, I'm pretty sure I

Sorry Senator, but the girl obviously had no problem being photographed semi-nude downing champagne cocktails in a hot tub in the California mansion of a notorious horn-dog.  In addition, any parent that would permit such activities with their 13 year old daughter should spend more than a few nights in prison for

True, but I could never identify Alaimo visually; just his awesome voice.  You knew he was around somewhere.

I don't get the gold thing.  Are they talking about equivalent minerals and gems?  Are minerals a universal quantity?  It occurs to me there would be billions upon billions of different minerals yet in carbon-based plates and strata, they would simply be slight variations of what we identify as gold, silver, diamond,

It must have been quite the challenge for the "Interface" writers to put together a script with no final act or resolution.

What's a horcrux?  Sounds positively filthy!

That's Robin Curtis.  She replaced Kirstie Alley as Saavik in Star Trek III and IV.

James Sloyan (and Vaughn Armstrong) were to the new franchise what Mark Lenard was to the original series.

Janeway and Paris did the nasty in the pasty.

I was going to say they look like a hair metal band from the mid-80s (Baran resembles David Coverdale circa Whitesnake), but "Cats" works just fine.
