Very nice article. I haven't seen a Halloween since the awful Curse of Michael Myers. I stayed away from H20 because of the title alone, but it sounds interesting. I'll have to check it out.

CHUD is a great name. The company that I work for loves to use acronyms, and somehow, we have an app called C.H.U.D.

Each night I flip through cable and see that one of my favorite horror movies is on, only to be disappointed when I find out that it's the awful remake and not the awesome original.

This is part of the "We have to give everyone something to do" school of writing. They could have easily just pulled out an old phone book or map and figured this out, which would have made more sense.
