Of course it's in Texas.
Of course it's in Texas.
The world would be a sad place with the Simpsons to reference.
I know you AVClub writers like to rip on this show, but I always enjoyed it as light entertainment. Having an interest in the movie business also helped. That said, I have no desire at all to see an Entourage movie. It seems really pointless. Is there really that much interest out there?
9 movies opening on Xmas day! Holy crap, Santa!
Isn't he in the new Hugh Jackman movie Prisoners playing Officer Loki?
Prisoners: I'm sure with a name like Officer Loki, he is one of the good guys….
I tried so hard to stick with Season 8. Off the bat, I didn't like how much time they skipped, but showing that Deb was going off the rails was a great start. As soon as she started to accept what she had done, which I think is totally out of character, the season started to go downhill.
So you say….
Seriously, I must have nodded off when she was onscreen because I don't remember seeing her. Now that's compelling television.
Yes, they have access to the technology, but not of them (save Dexter) are smart enough to use it.
And don't forget the shocking reveal that Masuka's daughter is a pothead. The internet will be lit for days on end about that.
Not to mention changing her hairstyle and color. It's as if she wants to get caught.
I'm starting to think that they bring in a new writing staff each week.
At one point in this episode, Deb says something like, "You're moving to Argentina? Do you know how fucking stupid that sounds?"
I'm surprised that you could muster up the enthusiasm to write one paragraph about this turd. Everything about this show is wrong. It's as if they bring in a new writing staff each week that only understands the Cliff-Notes version of Dexter.
Oh yeah. My memory is ravaged by too much Ween.
I have a live recording where Gene says that he wrote this song for Jack Black's wife. He doesn't go into any detail about it though.
I've always thought the same thing thing in comparison to Zappa. it's not that they sound like Zappa, its that they carry on that unconventional spirit of just doing whatever the fuck they want.
Such a dark and twisted tune, that is.
I still don't get how people don't like the country record. I love that album. I so happy that I have an original copy with the Ali audio at the end of Powder Blue.
