You know, I don't expect much from this show. It's a filler, and I'll take it over reality shows. I fail to see any potential in it — but neither do I see potential in a McDonald's cheeseburger.

On an out-of-universe note: Thank you! If it absolutely has to be done, THAT is the way to implement product placement. Noticeable, but unobtrusive, and somewhat integrated with the story. Not the hamfisted "let me talk of something completely irrelevant while I pet my new Nissan's dashboard" scenes of past episodes.

What I truly wonder is whether the writers genuinely think the Siri subplot was nerd humor of any kind … or  Apple just straightforwardly paid them for ten minutes of prime time advertisement. Either case, it was pretty painful to watch.

Only mildly related: I'm usually not that sensitive towards product placement, but it's slowly getting rather ridiculous. If you're creating whole completely unrelated scenes just to show off a car, you might as well have Adams do a dance routine.
