It was the sheriff, obviously, haven't you noticed their chemistry?

Yes, that scene was well acted, and in my opinion hotter than the "just toss in some boobs" approach from some shows.

Valerie only became a dangerously deluded guidance counsellor in this episode?

Agreed, it's not flattering.

Well, even though Sadie doesn't know what the audience knows that doesn't mean she isn't aware of 'potential' between Jenna and Matty. Signs like Matty inviting Jenna to that party at Lissa's and those two making subtle eyes at eah other while talking wouldn't be obvious to everyone but if Sadie is as interested as

In the episode where they had the party at Lissa's didn't Sadie or Lissa say that Sadie wanted to hook up with Matty? And when Jenna was sadly looking on while Matty was with random girl in the hot tub, Sadie looked all sad too (and then deflected that by making that nasty comment to Jenna) and Sadie always scowls

Or perhaps that this part is forsaken when you turn into a vampire.

Well the next episode might give an opportunity for that, if Matty remains upset with Jenna it would probably be good timing for Jenna to consider Jake. Although in this episode Jenna wasn't acting particularly interested in Jake, but she did have some distractions.

Yeah, I agree Mudderway, given Lacey's prior actions such as sending Jenna off to a party with drinks she bought for her I don't think this is such a huge step for Lacey. Lacey is in some ways trying to relive her teenage years through/with Jenna. I think this was more than we've seen from her before not just because

I think Kelly's power seems much better in theory than it was portrayed on the show. It didn't appear to happen very often and I'm not sure if she had any control either.

There could be non-witch hippy types buying incense/candles and little sparkly things.

Well, with the background that we have, the hug was something more than friendly - especially after Jenna told Matty to stop keeping her a secret. It's just that it probably wouldn't look that way to Jake (so no jealous stare - yet).

@avclub-df80f70f60b1c678f8c91696f4a54f5f:disqus Taxes are spent on a myriad of things that aren't for my personal benefit. If I was to start judging all people who get some benefit through government spending that doesn't help me personally I don't think there would be anyone left not to judge.

I really agree about Lissa not having a character yet. In another series they would do a lot more to acknowledge that it's pretty weak to know you aren't interested in your girlfriend and to keep seeing her. Here it's not really any issue because Lissa almost isn't a person - her only character traits so far are dumb

Yeah, I don't think they've even shown Jenna and Matty acting like friends in front of Jake and Matty sure isn't saying anything. They have acted like friends would when Jake wasn't there (eg that time sitting having lunch with "Jenna +").

The part where Simon knows about it later I'm fine with. I don't see any reason why I would want to watch another scene where Alisha tells Simon the truth when I can assume she just told him in the mean time - if she told him once why not again?

Yes, they like their misleads on Doctor Who, it's gotten to the point where you can ignore the most obvious choice. That said given the mini people might
A. Not know about some aspects of the Doctor's past, or
B. Think it's justifiable (the Doctor's a good guy who saves us from the nasty aliens).

There are plenty of good looking but unpopular girls out there. For example, think of the many celebrities who say they were bullied in highschool.

"ralthough" - It's a word now, similar in meaning to 'although', but classier.

Well firstly the show is hinting (ralthough the actors aren't pulling it off) that Sookie and Alcide do have an attraction towards each other so there's a logical reason to be jealous.
Secondly people are strange like that, someone who has cheated/left in the past themselves are more likely to beleive other people will
