They've always been pretty good at waterbending duels. Thinking specifically of Katara and the waterbending master at the North Pole, and Katara and the bloodbender.

Cat ending the bomb threat with an accidental "I love you" was great.

I think the syndicated episodes are shorter, so some of the fat gets trimmed. Not by much maybe, but it probably helps.

In that recent episode where they get the injections at the office, I could have sworn when Don was standing on the stairs and started to feel the effects of it, that he was pitching forward and about to fall.
