If Chris Morris replaced Patton Oswalt, and those three headlined a movie, I think my head would explode. Funniest men alive.

@avclub-da518aecddbf5c94588f53562012c452:disqus I have all the hardcovers and I managed to find affordable copies of the Rick Veitch run, which I'd recommend if you don't mind that the story doesn't get a proper conclusion.
Fix the forums too. I'm not even getting notifications for replies or even being namechecked.
@avclub-cfe912f5cb3aa572bd1c9ae2a9b82207:disqus Do you live in the Chicago area? If you don't, then you are taking a wild leap with that last comment. That's great that you lived in an area that had awesome out of print books that they were unable to sell, but I didn't.
I find the sprawling nature a strength. I like how he's able to balance DC continuity with his own little corner of the universe.
I originally looked at the article on my ipod, which made it doubly annoying.
I read Simonson's Thor for the first time last year. Holds up.
I haven't read that. I don't think reading Moore comics digitally would be very fun, just headache inducing.
@avclub-cfe912f5cb3aa572bd1c9ae2a9b82207:disqus I live near Chicago and frequented every single bookstore in the city and in NWI. Never ever saw a single one, not even in that wonderful 3 story Borders downtown. V For Vendetta was always stocked.
I'd like to be able to look at an AVClub article and not have a ten second commercial loop endlessly, slightly below the article so I don't know where to find it and shut it off. Is that too much to ask?
@avclub-cfe912f5cb3aa572bd1c9ae2a9b82207:disqus At comic shops, sure, but not at mainstream book stores.
Even before that V was more well known to the general public. I saw trades in every single Barnes and Nobles bookstore I frequented from 2000 to now. I don't remember seeing any Swamp Thing trades until the new hardcover editions a few years ago.
I haven't read JMS's take but Kirby should be second. Second best Marvel run he did, after Fantastic Four.
I find it weird that people put V right after Watchmen when discussing Alan Moore. It's a darn good book, but it wouldn't make my top five. I enjoy Swamp Thing more than Watchmen even…
Exactly. I get specific complaints about shows being under or over represented in the best, but there aren't many podcasts I listen to every single episode of, especially ones that are guest dependant.
I think the first series is wall to wall classics. Series two and three have a few episodes that aren't, but even a 'sub-par' episode is really pretty good. Better than a 'sub-par' series 4 episode of IT Crowd for sure.
It's probably just a good way to 'cross brands.'
I really liked this episode and Jen the Fredo. Countdown was ok… the rest aren't terrible or anything but I was happy that he announced the finale. Has that aired yet???
@avclub-cb0e59b8f769a8698b9f7154dd8809b5:disqus Yeah, I think The Sting, Fryish or Jurassic Bark should have been included. Just not all three.
I'm not too crazy about series four but Italian For Beginners is one of the best episode of the show.
