@avclub-29501df08e5d9ae59e432e4f188d3735:disqus  I'm willing to give anything Vertigo puts out a shot (I feel the same way about Fantagraphics, Top Shelf, Drawn & Quarterly and Dark Horse… I might have to add Image to that list soon). Particular favorites include the obvious Fables, Preacher, 100 Bullets, etc. but

Sandman. There's a Them Or Us poster in a bedroom in issue 3 and there's a marquee for a drive in in issue 5 that has a double billing of Night of the Living Dead and Zomby Woof.

The specific example brought up was New 52. Did any of those get 48 pages to set things up?

I haven't read the Sandman in eight or nine years. Last time I did, it was my favorite work of fiction. I've been wondering how it holds up since I recently read Alan Moore's Swamp Thing. I'm really happy that I've been very pleased so far. The artwork looks MUCH better than I remember it (I do have the first

I did not know that. The only way that's justifiable is if Claremont had that planned for years (even then I'd still think it was a bad idea).

Cyclops seems to be a character that a lot of writers (and fans) only care about to see him kicked to the gutter.

@OhLaika:disqus    Isn't a big part of Scott's backstory that he was the FIRST mutant recruited by Xavier?

Any particular reason you think so? I haven't read it, but have debated getting the trades as I love both of the authors.

I would like to state for the record that I enjoy and own all the series mentioned and will be happy if/when they take their turn. I just personally voted Invisibles because I think that would be the most interesting revview/comment section.
