I don't know if JD Salinger would agree with that. I think it's a great book partially because he's a prick, but Salinger seemed to think precocious kids were the only humans worthwhile.

Wasn't this when the Simpsons aired opposite the Cosbys? I'm pretty sure they took a bit of hit in the ratings because of that.

I recently caught a few episodes of this on Adult Swim and they made me laugh much harder than I expected as I am not a big Family Guy fan. I decided to check it out on Netflix but the first few episodes are pretty dull…

I don't understand people who expect this show to be realistic all the time. As I pointed out on another thread, the first episode has that helicopter gag.

Somebody is going to point out how wacky Peep Show can be and that nobody eats a dog on Louie, so I'm going to preemptively point out that the first episode of Louie features a woman escaping on a helicopter.
