I never liked Mimi Rogers until I saw The Rapture.  She is magnificent in it.  She was also good in Bulletproof Heart, although I didn't think the film was nearly as good as The Rapture.

I agree, I think she looks terrible in several of those shots.

Pee-wee's Big Adventure is the only film of Burton's that I really like.

Simple Men.  Love it.  There are so many great moments.  And I love the conversation about Long Island.  Robert John Burke and Bill Sage are terrific.

Does he sing at all on this?  I can't get enough of that voice.

I LOVE God of Gamblers.  I would kill for it on DVD.  I bought a copy on eBay, but the English subtitles were cut off :(

phodreaw: It was like watching paint dry. I hated it. Sure, I want more Jack, but so far, I think Miracle Day sucks and this episode did nothing to change my mind. It felt endless and I didn't enjoy the flashbacks at all.

JHC: I agree. It sucks. I get pissed every time I watch another episode. I can't believe I haven't bailed yet. I loved Torchwood, until Miracle Day.

@Plith - Yes, Michael Caine was in both the original Sleuth and the remake, but unfortunately the remake is the only version currently available on DVD.

Deathtrap and the original Sleuth are delightful.

There were definitely people on MySpace who took the whole personalization thing to an obnoxious new stratosphere. I always made sure my page was relatively simple (never did a wallpaper thing), easy to read, and that any songs or videos on it did NOT autostart. That shit is annoying.
