I don't think a pissing match is required, but I do remember that Gilmore Girls was almost exclusively white.  Also, regarding the 'women supporting women' comment; there's no reason to support someone just because of what they've got between their legs.

I am with you on Jasper Johns.  The only paintings of his I've liked are the mirror series, but even then, I felt indifference rather than hate.  My current biggest art hate would be Gerhard Richter.  Fuck.  Apparently my last studio teacher had no concept of time when she talked about his 'innovative paint-scraping…
