They were at Lollapalooza 2011 in the POURING rain, and it was pretty damn great.  "My Hero" is a bit too pat/pandering for me, but hearing 30,000 people or so being led by Grohl, as it was raining sideways right into his face, was a great moment.

@avclub-22eda830d1051274a2581d6466c06e6c:disqus  - this is probably a first for me, but I disagree with you on this one.  I think he is fantastic - not Keith Moon or John Bonham, but he has a clear stamp, a recognizable style on the Nirvana records.  That is no easy feat for any drummer, IMHO.
