@avclub-16db446cafb1ffb1466e71eaf97a4f49:disqus that was the best episode I saw this year. The "little guy is the wife" stuff, while an easy place to start, was very well done, IMHO

I think Ed O'Neil, who I did not like on Married w Children, is consistently good, and the only character on the show that approaches understated.

While this last season was weak, I'll submit the opinion that MF TOWERS above the likes of Big Bang Theory and 2.5 men. I've only seen about 20 mins. total of both shows, but good lord, what base awfulness.

'Bitch is Back' = good, but 'Bitch' = great. Unstoppable is a great way to describe it.

Boxing Day 2009. Lit the back of my house on fire, no shit, cooking a turkey on the grill. (I was a balmy 45 degrees - very unusual for Chicago area on Dec. 26.) My mom and wife were pretty impressed by the young, attractive, friendly firemen. After the drama, a swell dinner was had by all.

@avclub-489acfbfa4d2424403acb81699170ac2:disqus this will sound stupid, but how does one meet up with AVCers? it seems weird to invite people out for drinks or whatever on this public forum, or am i just being a prude?
@avclub-de4a08d644135b09bd7e1a592dff156b:disqus I saw Flea on the Atoms for Peace tour. He's every bit the musician that Thom Yorke is. Graceful melodies, excellent arrangements etc. on all his songs. This gets lost/overlooked among the "superfast crazyass whiteboy" bass player-ness for which Flea is better known.
Loved Gish and Siamese Dream, tolerated the Rat in the Cage era, and then rage quite.

There's a lot of crap to bag on re: RHCP, but Frusciante ain't it. He is the main reason I like any RHCP songs (not that I am not tired of all of it).
