My brother has travelled quite a bit.  This will sound totally snobbish, unintentional as he is a very easy going guy, but he has a very hard time dating American girls/women because of the way they talk. It strikes him as absurd and totally grating, in general (does not apply to all of course)

They reran one last night where they try to quit drinking for a day.  End up in group sock puppet thereapy.  It is one of the best comedy thingys I've seen in at least a year. surreal, funny, and each sock is the sock-clone of its owner
