No not every story. I've liked some damn depressing movies in my time (Young Adult, Never Let Me Go, Winter's Bone) but I'm also not anti happy ending and after 9 years with this character I want him to have a happy ending. In fact I'd very much like all of them to have happy endings or at least end on hopeful notes.

I'm fine with them mostly because I'm all for poor Toby getting a chance to be happy. Maybe the finale will have her realizing she's pregnant just as she's approved for adoption. Well we already know Toby's a good father :)

The more I think about the more I think that a much more interesting version of season 8 would have been having Sam and Dean trapped in Purgatory together. Rifts are fucking boring.
