I can't see Dean going so far as to threaten a human life though even at his darkest. A demon possessed human (since he and Sam both seem to have conditioned themselves to no longer count the possessed as people) maybe but not an actual innocent person.

If? Come on now. This show is fun and creative and all that but it's not that outside the box. Nick/Jess are most likely inevitable. I've made peace with that even if this entire episode got me thinking Nick/Winston would be a funnier pairing if they have to hook Jess up with one of the roommates.

I think we're all primarily watching for Nick. I know I am but I don't think Nick became the favorite until this season or late season 1 before that this really was the Schmidt show.
