It is very sad but 19 episodes is more than a lot of shows get and if they wrap it up  in a way that gives closure this could be a future dvd set I will be proud to own. If it helps let's just pretend this is a UK show! 19 episodes = 3 seasons and a Christmas special over there!

I think it's just a parody of Happy Feet. It also totally sounds like one of those rip off movies that come around at the same time as the latest Pixar/Dreamworks offering you find in bargain bins that would be within the Chance family entertainment budget.

I wonder if  dragging out this whole thing with Barney/Robin was just a plot by the writers to justify the very likely possibility that Ted isn't going to meet his wife until the series finale to "prove" to the audience that there's no thrill if we know the characters will end up together.
