Don't forget Troodons, either, who were possibly the smartest dinosaurs ever.

Yeah, I also go through the "look how sharp the leaves are!" phase every time I get new lenses for my glasses. Glasses themselves don't bother me, since I started out young, but wearing non-goggle 3D glasses over them is flat-out annoying. And one eye has noticeably worse vision than the other, of course.

I'd personally nominate Michael Mann's The Keep as a vaporware DVD release that technically did get a VHS release in the `80s.

@lexicondevil:
It could be worse. I once heard a black 11th-grader in high school think that a track off of Dark Side of the Moon that was playing on a classic rock station was country! Granted, he and most of the class were part of the TRL/Billboard Top 40-loving crowd, but I don't think I've ever heard anyone be more

Gap Kids
Strangely, this irritates me less than the series of Gap Kids ads they used to run (in the late `90s?) with kids singing in a horribly flat monotone. Saturday morning cartoon programming blocks used to air them several times each commercial break.

I bought my first Mac when Apple's systems were all set to dual-boot between OS X and OS 9, and I had to flip-flop between them until more software was ported to OS X.

Little Me
This sounds like a real-life version of the star from Little Me by Patrick Dennis. Maybe Mamie was one of the inspirations for that?
