Presentation is not at all important to me with food. It's why I have such a hard time watching cooking shows (looking at you, Chopped) because I could give one about how my food looks as long as it tastes good.
I do like my baked goods to be pretty, though. If I make a cake, I want it looking like it was done nicely.

My parents know this dude that runs a meat market (growing up, I thought everyone have big chest freezers full of sides of beef) and he makes this awesome beef/pork mix for burgers. It's so good, especially grilled.

I'm getting Nigerian food tonight! In an hour even! I can't tell you how happy this makes me.

Says you!
*tosses shot, dares employer to say anything*

I don't like to hug, except when I do. Fave people to hug? Children (in a non-creepy way, weirdo) and crotchety old people who don't hug.

There is this hot honey mustard (I wanna say from Dietz and Watson) that will set your world afire. It's so freaking good on everything! So thick that you have to store upside down to get it out the bottle.

I have Grey Poupon that no one in my house can remember buying, that has been through at least one move, and I still use it, without dying. And I'm paranoid about the thought of off/mouldy food.

Hey, at least you're actively encouraging human contact! I think I'd become a nun, but I don't do well with enforced dress codes, and the whole not my religion thing.

If it wasn't for the DS9 recaps and Game of Thrones (and outliers of Classic) I'd feel weirder than I already do. Actually, I don't even watch Game of Thrones, because of the lack of HBO! (I have read the books, and thoroughly enjoy the adaptation choices and discussion.)

Marzipan, bane of my existence! I can't not eat it when I come across it.

No to peanuts, except in PB! I don't know where the aversion to them came about, because I remember many a good baseball came with my super bag of in-shell peanuts, but I actively avoid them now.

We sell them plain and covered in chocolate at work. If I get cussed at one too many times, one of those beautiful jars will come home with me!
PIM, emotional eater since 1979

Down to peanuts! Obvs, the best ever are wasabi soy almonds. You'll burn and reach for more! Also good- cashews, pistachios, hazelnuts and macadamias.

Just in case any of our regulars are still hanging out-
I'm totally going to the TNG "Best of Both Worlds" event tomorrow! If there are any Indy peeps going, I'm at AMC Castleton and will be the geek in the WIFE shirt.

Stupid tablet and Disqus not playing nice! I believe I was trying to say that I remembered liking "Let He…" because when Worf came to DS9 I was super pumped, stoked when he and Dax hooked up (I was sixteen) so when this episode rolled around, it was like my lil' 'shipper's heart on the screen. I always loved the smile

They're strapping down Liz's Minnelli!

I remember really liking this when it foreshadowed. I've nitedbmybtolerance for "bad" DS9 (very high)

I like to use Captain 100, because I'm that kind of friend. I just use a standard yellow cake recipe with rum instead of water, and caramel icing. I boil cans of condensed milk and use that as the base.

Sub in 'moonshine' for 'beer' and you have my night. Cheers!

EXPLAIN! As you would a child!
