I actually had someone tell me they put cheez-its on the top of their mac and cheese. This sounds like something I need to try. Plus the bacon.

I knew Indianapolis was getting all sophisticated when we started selling sushi in the grocery store. I bought a cream cheese roll home, declared it good, and now my dad and sister eat sushi (no sashimi yet, I'm working on 'em).

I found this miso soup that I keep experimenting with. Between that and discovering new places to put pico de gallo, I'm a happy girl.

All I know is, I liked John Carter when I went to see it in theatres (my mom wanted to see it, I wanted to see a documentary, so we saw John Carter) and it was surprisingly decent. (and I got to see the docu after, score!) When I heard about Battleship, I stated somewhere on this here webpage that it had to be a flop

I love me some Nog. Maybe because I was just the right age to identify with the 'younger set' on DS9 (I even read the godawful YA books based on the series, with Jake, Nog and Molly for some reason having adventures), but his path to adulthood rang so true for me, knowing I didn't want to necessarily follow my

I watched DS9 first-run, but I was a kid (when it premiered, I was 13) and missed a lot of the nuances of Odo's character. I liked him, as I liked the whole sprawling cast, but it wasn't until "Fortune's Children" that I caught on to the fact that Odo like liked Kira. I remember "Heart Of Stone" but fuzzily. This time

This. I think we all, my dad included, got swept up in the sheer ballsiness of the movie that we really enjoyed it. I'm sure my mom would enjoy it if she saw it again (she's a 'well, the barn door's open now' kinda lady) but my dad would probably not be so casual. The life of a PK.

Okay, you talked me into it…

"I'm parked near the commissary."
Most hilarious. *bangs gavel* Next case!

I knew that going into it, because I'd read a review in our local alternapaper. I just (naively) assumed that it would be all 'wink wink' references and not what it turned out to be. Like I said, we laugh about it now, and joke that we're gonna rewatch it. Not likely (with them anyway), but we'll keep our memories.

I took my parents to see Bubba Ho-Tep.
Hilarity ensued. Seriously, my mom and I still quote that movie. It was hella awkward when it first came on and Elvis starts talking about his penis.
