I saw this in high school. I was more horrified by the idea of old Joan Crawford taking her 'daughter's place on The Secret Storm or whatever than her beating on her. Yes, I have priorities.

I liked the idea, but it seemed like "Amazing Race-USA! USA!" because of the skittish producers. Also, I hated the Weavers, for reasons forgotten, but the name still sends shivers down my back.
