I discovered new hiking trails and Zumba, eight hundred years late, pestered my dad unsuccessfully to return my DS9 Companion, and moved. I attempted to flirt with a man, unsuccessfully, and then gave up and read books. So business as usual.

This is exactly my experience. It's my own fool fault that I haven't found something else though, so I can't be too mad at my job for taking advantage of the situation.

Say what you want about the later seasons, but ER's finale worked for me so well. I love full circle endings, and I loved that Rachael became something more than an Ecstasy using brat, and the last moment with her and Carter?

The ER moment that got me was the Bob Newhart arc, when he and Abby (or Sam, it's been awhile) had kinda become friends and he was gonna cook dinner for her, but she couldn't come because of an emergency and then he can't see 'cause he's got macular degeneration, and he cuts himself, ruins the food, and sits down with…

That balcony thing scared the mess out of me back in the say. I have irrational fears as it is, and watching that balcony drop out of frame messed me up for a while. Shane West did do a good job- I liked the last crop of characters, and the last seasons. It kinda got good again, slowly, and the finale was so good.

Abraham Benrubi is a hometown boy, so I admit to watching Parker Lewis because he was on there, and switching allegiance when he was on ER. I eventually got sucked into the storylines and whatnot, but at first, it was 'the dude who co-owns a crazy successful restaurant is on ER!'

I loved Abby for a while, but after a few episodes with life crapping on her, I just felt like I'd gotten a glimpse of what might have been in my life, and wanted to drink as much as she couldn't.

I watched the Fresh Hell with LeVar- hilarious, but not something I'd tune into every week, unless LeVar was on.

That was the only misstep they made, in my opinion. The new theme was too slow and calm. The old one made you get excited. "I can do ANYTHING!"
