I own a car that's old enough to have its own license. There's a tape deck that still works but won't accept a tape adapter. The FM transmitter is the only way to escape from radio. It sounds decent enough for me- I just want music I can sing with loud.

My MP3 player until a week ago was on perma-shuffle exactly for that reason. My new one is glitchy, shuffle goes exactly the same way each time, so now it's 'all songs, alphabetical' until I hear everything.

Definitely. The only reason I didn't take myself out when Napster finally bit it was that I had most of the same tracks on CD, burned 'em and kept on trucking.

Honestly, I'd expect anyone involved in the making of ALF to have some kind of crippling vice. All of them basically ran out of Hollywood. Max Wright just takes it to a whole 'nother level.

For a couple of brief, glorious years, TV Land had "Super Retro Vision Saturday" that was the 70's Saturday Morning Cartoon experience bought back for those who remember or didn't experience it the first time around (me). Lance Link was one of the offerings, and I made the kids I babysat for watch it like it was new.
