There was one normal episode, where Homer does something to piss off Bart. In the middle of his apology to Bart, we see from Bart's P.O.V Homer slowly rotting into a corpse. I assume it was supposed to show Bart's revulsion but I got mostly terror out of it.

There were a few other attempts to make Female characters as popular as Miss Piggy. Annie Sue, and Miss Mousy were supposed to be the attractive ingenue types but they and the  other female characters never really took off (Helga and Mildred vanished after the first season or as well.) I went to see it in a theater with this guy who'd already seen it and right as I grabbed his hand at that part, he took that moment to silently hand me his wisdom teeth that he had out a week earlier and had saved just for that occasion.  I don't think I've ever screamed louder.
